Featured Charity March: Refugio Franciscano

One rainy morning we got a call reporting a sick puppy on a busy street. We managed to get to her, and rescued her! We welcomed her to our shelter and immediately noticed her terrible scabs, that she was very skinny, and that she could hardly keep her eyes open. We immediately cleaned her up, treated her injuries and while doing so were very happy to see her good heart, and eagerness to live. Today Nina is a very loved dog, and has a healthy and happy home with us.
