Who are we?
Charity Coalition A.C. Connecting those who can with those in need.
It is comprised of a group of expatriate and national volunteers that participate actively with local charities by providing material and moral support, as well as assisting them with specific fundraising events that are needed throughout the year.
The coalition was established in 2009, became a legal entity in November of the same year, and was given tax-deductible status in March of 2010; with the objective of understanding each individual charity's' needs, fund-raising and donation tactics, in order to avoid duplication of efforts and over-saturation of events on similar dates.

Charity Coalition helps a wide range of charities, which in turn, help many different people with various daily and constant needs. Each one of these organizations requires all the support that can be given, and we assure all of the possible donors and volunteers, that their help will be greatly appreciated, and will improve the lives of many.
American Benevolent Society, I.A.P.
The American Benevolent Society is a charity dedicated to the help of elderly Americans and expatriates, in need living in Mexico. It provides them with medical, psychological, financial, educational, and legal assistance, as well as social outlets. These organized activities and events include: Annual Health Day, Thanksgiving, 4th of July gathering, and a Cherry Pie Annual Meeting.
In addition, ABS manages Caza Libros, a used bookstore for books in English and other languages available to its members and the public. Books are donated to the store and sold at a discounted price. Caza Libros is completely staffed by volunteers and all proceeds from the sales support the social services provided by the ABS.
